Q: Will you bill my insurance Company?
A: Absolutely. Currently we are set up to bill most insurance
companies including Medicare, Tricare, and a variety of private
insurance companies so long as we are provided with the appropriate
medical documentation. For a more extensive list please check
our “insurance policy” section from our home page.
Q: Do I need a prescription?
A: For most equipment and supplies, orders may be filled without
a prescription. However, in order to bill any insurance company,
we must have a valid prescription on file prior to delivery.
Q: Can you mail me my supplies?
A: We do offer a variety of mail order and shipping options for
those patients that live outside of our delivery area. For more
information please contact a customer service representative at
(800) 660-1162, or send an email to john@ctmedicalinc.com.
Q: What are your hours of operation?
A: We are open from 8:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M., PST, Monday thru Friday.
However, we do have knowledgeable staff and technicians on call
24 hours a day, 7 days a week for equipment based emergencies.
For true medical emergencies please call 911.
Q: Why can’t I find the products that you normally send me on
your website?
A: Just because you don’t see the item that you want on our site
doesn’t mean that you can’t get it. We have started by listing
our most popular items first and we are adding more products every
day. If there is any question about any product, please call (800)
660-1162 or email us your questions.
Q: How long will I need to use Oxygen?
A: Oxygen is prescribed to treat a number of diagnoses. It is
up to you and your Physician, as to how long you will need to
use oxygen.
Q: Is the use of oxygen dangerous?
A: Oxygen is not flammable, but it will support combustion. Therefore
it is important to keep oxygen a safe distance away from a spark
or open flame, and follow the directions given by your CT Medical
representative at the time of set-up.
Q: How long will I need to use my CPAP/ BiPAP?
A: You will need to use your CPAP/ BiPAP until your condition
changes to the point you no longer need the equipment, or until
you and your Physician decide it is time that you no longer need
to use the equipment.
Q: How often do I need to get a new CPAP/ BiPAP mask?
A: If you follow our set-up directions and recommendations, your
mask may last 6 months to a year. Most insurance will use approximately
3 months for a mask and 6 months for a headgear as a minimum for
a new purchase.
Q: Why does it feel like I get more oxygen when using my tank
then when I use my concentrator?
A: You may feel like you are getting more oxygen, because the
tank will deliver oxygen under more pressure than when it comes
out of a concentrator.
